Thanks for stopping by to visit my Anoka County real estate website. If there is any way that I can improve it to make Anoka County property information more accessible to you, please let me know. I believe that any good website is never really completed anyway, and that it is always a dynamic work in progress. Whether you already live in Anoka County, or you are just thinking about it, I would like to hear from you. I have  included a blog component to this website as a way to provide you with updated information on Anoka County real estate and community issues or events. Also, a blog will give my home seller clients a wider internet exposure than a traditional static website ever will. More importantly, the blog is a way for you to share your insights, comments, and concerns. I am not silly enough to think that I know everything about the Anoka County real estate market and community! Certainly, home owners already know something about the local market, and have specific insights or experiences that would be valuable to everyone. Home buyers and out-of-state visitors have questions about Anoka County real estate that I may not have not even yet considered.

My goal with the blog is to foster communication in two directions. In fact, a blog will allow you, the visitor, to interact with other visitors, so the communication becomes multi-directional. Without the blog, I might do just as well to send out postcards, newsletter, or create yet another static real estate website.

As you may know, Anoka County is a part of the Twin Cities region, and is one of the fastest growing counties in the state. It is also a very large county (320,803, according to a U.S. Census Bureau estimate,) covering 446 square miles of territory. It is the fourth most populous county in the state. There is so much to tell you about our rapidly-growing community that I hardly know where to start. To begin, I have included a “Relocation Resources” link in the right navigation sidebar with information about schools, crime, daycare services, medical care, and other relocation essentials. Also, in the left navigation bar, there are links to pages about some of the larger cities in our county. Our smaller cities are just as important to us. I  know their markets, and would love to tell you more about them, or, better yet, tour these areas with you.

There are so many exciting things happening in our county. For example, everyone is talking about the Northstar Commuter Rail. The Northstar has stops in Anoka, Coon Rapids, and Fridley. Even with the current infrastructure, it is an easy commute from most parts of the county to downtown. Everyone is getting on board because this make’s downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul even closer!

Technically speaking, it is not actually the MLS system, because only member agents have access to the regional MLS database. All of this sort of real estate technology is helpful, but it can be tempting to become pre-occupied with it and lose sight of why we are really doing all of this. Moreover, you did not come to this site to read about our air cards, Twitter, Skype, CMS, or the whole alphabet soup of technical terms. Instead, you might have come here to see if you could be happy living in Anoka County. You may have come here to find a home. You may have come here to find someone to help you sell your home. As your Anoka County real estate agent, I do not want to lose sight of the fact that personal service is much more important than the technology that seems to be consuming our industry.
